Position Description
myPartner.com, the leading matchmaking agency for gay men in the United States is seeking a Senior Ad Sales Manager. The Senior Ad Sales Manager will be responsible for selling limited online ad space to our niche market, selling sponsorship packages, and building the advertising sales team. A key component of this position wil be to develop and execute a business strategy to grow online advertising revenues.
Sales Responsibilities :
• Serve as company's "Industry Expert" for online advertising.
• Identify potential clients and advertising targets.
• Refine sales pitch & strategy (Sponsorship & ad packages).
• Develop sales documents & refine media kits.
• Schedule and conduct pitch meetings with advertising clients.
• Close Sales.
• Identify and engage with ad sales partners including third party networks, ad sales agencies, ad insertion and tracking platform providers to maximize value of inventory.
Operations & Planning Responsibilities :
• Manage the advertising sales operations.
• Devise ad placement strategies and define inventory allocations.
• Establish business advertising sales business processes.
• Forecast Sales.
• Work with other members of our team to launch advertising campaigns.
• Regular tracking and reporting on results.
Job Details :
• 90 day contract to hire full-time
• Total Compensation of $100K+ = Commissions + Bonus, base salary begins after 3 months of proven sales track record
• Start Date = Immediately
• Location = Anywhere in the US, preferably San Francisco, California
Qualifications:
• BA required, MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of online advertising experience in sales.
• Deep understanding of online advertising industry.
• Strong foundation in internet metrics and performance measurements.
• Experience with dating service advertisers a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and a creative problem solver.
• Ability to define work flow and hit deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Superior MS Office skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
