San Francisco, Calif. – February 27, 2009 – On July 17, 2008, Abel Lima, Mr. Rhode Island, became the first ever America's Gay Bachelor at a sold-out, star-studded Finale celebration at the San Diego W Hotel's Beach. What makes a man America's Gay Bachelor? Could it be looks? Personality? Success? It is time for you to decide as myPartner.com scours all 50 states and Washington, D.C. for the most eligible bachelor in the 2nd Annual America's Gay Bachelor contest.

Anyone can nominate themselves or their favorite eligible gay men starting March 1st through April 30. myPartner.com will select a winning bachelor for each state and one from the nation's capital to be voted for online. The five top online vote winners will be flown to San Diego for final judging by a panel of judges at a Finale event on June 20th with a live fashion runway show, celebrity guests, and several hundred of the most eligible bachelors in America!
