In terms of a relationship, I want to find someone I would be proud of my family to meet and who could help me be a person he is proud of. Someone to understand my universe and make me a better person within it. They would have to understand that I don't throw people away, like my ex. I am looking to meet new friends, and don't be shocked, but I mean, FRIENDS, not a quickie, not a hook up, not psychopathic drama queens...FRIENDS and friends ONLY, but if something were to grow form that friendship, all the better. Friends to hang with, watch movies, play cards, board games, and go to movies, shopping or whatever. I am not into the bar scenes. I am also not into liars, cheats, and the guys who hold up that "badge" of pain as an excuse not to love. I am a super nice guy when dealing with real people, not the fakes that want to chat you up with only the intention of sex, but under the guise of friendship. I am here to meet and make friends, don't chat me up with the premise of getting lucky or if you are, at least be honest about it. I have had my fair share of LTRs, the longest being 8 yrs, the shortest was 3. I understand loss, pain and unrequited love. Yet I refuse to let that pain and loss jade me or make me cynical towards finding love again. The only cynicisms I have is in men and their ability to truly love and be faithful, or even if they really want love. It seems those that scream the loudest of being alone, lonely and wanting something real, are the same ones that are out there sleeping around, and cheating, and won't take the chance on love. Life is too short to play games with men’s' hearts, none of us know how long we have on this earth and if we want something real, then we need to do what it takes to make it happen, take a chance on life and love and the possibility of happiness. Albeit I believe that that is what most men are truly afraid of, being happy. It all just seems so futile at times, but here I am diligently waiting for my prince to find me and willing to take a chance. ** I like to surround myself with positive people that have something to look forward to in life. People that have goals and want something more from their lives. People that don't sweat the lil shit, and who are not afraid of the vulnerabilities of love, not judgmental, condescending know it all. Life's too short to play games, if you have something to say be HONEST about it. I consider myself lucky. Just remember...you can't be generous with your heart and feelings if you aren't willing to lose. Pain is a part of life as well as love and loves lost, that is the building blocks of who we've become, so until you have learned to accept, learn from and embrace those feelings, emotions, and pain, you can't be honest with yourself, least of all, someone you love.

I like picnics, wandering around new places, hanging out at the beach and wave watching. I like to go out and try new things. I enjoy live music, watching movies, theater, broadway plays, dancing or just hanging out at home. I'm a good natured person. I love meeting new people. I'm super snuggly and a good friend. I'm really good at: crafty stuff, giving hugs, listening, empathy, snuggles, listening to crazy people ramble and not once letting on that I think they are nuts, making something out of nothing, trying new things, cheering you on, managing chaos (well, that's actually something I am an "apprentice" at) Yes, I like music. Currently my favorite TV show is Weeds. I think I can do without most things. There are certainly things that make life more brilliant but the loss of something wouldn't end my world.
